More than Strangers

Five strangers, a car, and a shared journey from Berlin to Paris—it sounds like a simple carpool, but it quickly turns into a nerve-wracking adventure. For the humorous road movie “More Than Strangers,” LUMALENSCAPE created driving scenes for the production by PALLAS FILM.

The real-life street scenes were produced using a vehicle specially rigged with 11 cameras. The acting scenes with the cast were then filmed in the studio against a realistic backdrop created by LED screens.

Director Sylvie Michel was awarded the “Neues Deutsches Kino” Promotion Prize at the 2023 Munich Film Festival for her directing work on this production.
